It’s inevitable…sometimes showing a movie in class is just what you need. You’ve got disrupted schedules, days before a holiday, behavior reward days, substitute plans, you name it! In addition, showing a movie can have instructional value! If you choose a movie that’s based on a book, students can practice their literary skills as they watch.
In this post I’ve collected over 50 movies that are based on a BOOK, rated G, and appropriate for your classroom.
But wait! You can make them EVEN more valuable by adding one of my movie guides!
These guides are designed for students to complete while watching. They add so much instructional value to your lesson and allow you to stay on track with your curriculum. See an example of my *most popular* movie guide for The One and Only Ivan here! Then click here to see over 50 others!
